The Society aims at encouraging research into Anglo-German relations in the sphere of scholarship, culture and politics with special reference to the connection between Coburg and England. These aims are attained by arranging the Prince Albert Conference and the Prince Albert Students' Seminar, by issuing publications, especially the Prince Albert Studies and the Prince Albert Research Publications, and by awarding the Duke of Gloucester Essay Prize.
